This restaurant would be prized anywhere — the quality of the food, the artistry of the preparation, the fairness of the pricing, the delightful decor, and the unusually attentive staff would make it a find in any city or village. A US friend who grew up in Auvers suggested it. We went the first time to please her. The duck that night prompted us to return. On that visit the lamb, the steak, and a lovely Bordeaux made our evening. Tonight we will end our pleasant 5-day stay in Auvers with a special fish preparation that Sergio (the attentive chef and owner) has promised. This is a place not to be missed (for lunch or dinner) on any trip to Auvers sur Oise.
