Hotel am Tiergarten Restaurant

Booked in before we flew out just in case but probably didn't need to as it was a little quiet. Had a few beers, the altbeer and the bitburger were pretty damned good. Whetted the whistle so to speak. 8 of us sat down to eat and had a good variety like rissotto, pizza, spaghetti and sizzling steaks. The selection is so large it was difficult to narrow down the choice. Essentially the menu is Italian based so you know what you are going to eat. All the lads cleared their plates (apart from the green stuff) and enjoyed their food. Even learning a few German words like "Kostlich" and "Fantastisch"The waitresses were extremely helpful during the meal and also pointed out where to visit afterward...

We had a great meal at the restaurant - it was a warm evening and we ate outside.There was a good choice on the menu, and one of the specialities were steaks cooked on hot stones at the table. We did not have this, but it was clear that everyone who did really was enjoying it.I had a grilled steak (by the chef - I am a useless cook), and it was a good size. In fact the whole meal was really of a good size, with potatoes, veggies AND a salad all included in the price.The staff were excellent and attentive - the person also on our table needed a gluten-free meal, and the staff were very attentive to his requirements, making suggestions, as well as consulting with the chef.If you are staying at...

Had the steak cooked on the hot stone, which was simple and excellent. The decor is unique and you feel truly immersed in motorsport culture when eating in the Pistenklause restaurant. Food was very good, service was quick and friendly. Quite pricey, but good quality so justified! If you're in the Nurburg/ring area, you need to eat here..

Ate here twice over a 3 night stay. Should have eaten there on the 3rd night too.Steak on stone both nights and it was awesome. Really good service. Attentive and efficient.If you're staying in the hotel and you're a carnivore it would be foolish not to go here at least once.It got pretty busy so I suppose booking a table would be smart. Steak steak steak steak steak and steak, cracking beer good service Very Cramped if your in large group Steak on stone is signature dish!If order steak go for fillet and medium is rare, if you order rare it's blue, Also calzones are huge, pretty decent and damn site cheaper than steak The place has excellent atmosphere for petrol heads

Having been here a few times, the service was as good as ever and the food just as good. Very atmospheric restaurant. The walls and ceilings are cluttered with photos and pieces of broken cars and trophys. All connected to the Nurburgring. A great place to eat.It can get very busy so best to ring and book.

Pistenklause restaurant is attached to the Hotel am Tiergarten, staff were friendly and helpful. The food was good but not quite to the standard you would normally expect in Germany.

Lost count how many times I have been here. Haven't been for two years and good to see that it is still the same and the food and beer are still good.

Beautiful food - fillet steak on hot stone - absolutely perfect. Great atmosphere & friendly helpful staff too
