Booked and paid in advance for two stays, one night on our way down to the south west of France and the other was meant to be on the way back. The room was ok but the food served to us in the restaurant was inedible, we always use campaniles mainly because the food is always good and the staff very pleasant. Needless to say after we complained (politely I have to say) that the meat on my wife's plate was cold and mine was too grisly to eat, the waitress just laughed at my wife. We walked out in disgust. Room a little dated but clean and comfortable bedding.... However, do not eat at the restaurant.... Beef steak (only meat on the menu) and more available on a Saturday evening when there were only 8 seats for the evening... I then fall back on the vegan Burger.....and the disaster....frozen fries and especially the burnt burger bread (photo attached)...... So we move on to cashing out..... And the chef asks us if it was us who had the dry, slightly undercooked burgers.... We told him yes that it was inedible because the bread was burnt and dry.
