A very good address. Magnificient Buliding XVth Century (without elevator, not suitable for disabled) . Beautiful rooms, excellent service, The owners, a local couple, really do their best to solve your problems even if they are not connected to the hotel. Good breakfast and very nice dinner in the restaurant (only real meals are missing). For skiers, really only 50 m from the skibus bus stop, which will drive you into the very beautiful areas of Hinterstoder and Wuzerhalm (separated but a common ski card). With the great Natural Park Kakalpen Forest nearby, the place should be very beautiful and full of opportunities in summer.
This place went through highs and lows. With the recent owners and excellent cook it is highly recommended. Very friendly and attentive service, prices are moderate. The quality of the food is a reason to come again and again. Mainly traditional Austrian food, or localised specialties. There is also a small range of creative and very good vegetarian meals. I will definitely be back.

We stayed the night at Das Rossl hotel and restaurant in Windischgarsten. We were lucky to go into the restaurant at the time we did as the kitchen closes at 8pm on a Sunday eve. Other nights it closes at 10pm. I think Wednesday is the rest day. The food was great- large plateful and very tasty. Would recommend.

What a beautiful place. So a pleasant staff, very relaxed atmosphere and beautiful breakfast. 18 minutes from the ski resort. We looked around like that. Pet friendly too. Thank you. We'll be back.
Very delicious fresh and amazing food. We ate a lot of Od dishes here and was always totally fantastic and threatening! Great work!
