Hotel de France

We arrived in Chateaulin on a Bank Holiday and so most places to eat were closed. We then came across the Hotel de France on the other side of the river. We went inside and it was nearly full. We had a table, sat down and enjoyed a promptly served meal which was value for money and extremely tasty. It was so nice that we returned the following night and again received a similar experience. The staff were friendly and nice although it would be of assistance if the customer spoke a little French. Recommended.

More than perfect stay at the Hôtel de France. Pleasant room and high quality bedding. Superb restaurant. Very generous seafood platter. But above all a kind, friendly, smiling welcome. You really feel like a host and the entire team manages everything to make your stay a pleasant one. The breakfast was incredibly generous and of high quality. Special mention for the Far Breton which is just perfect. A real favorite Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5

On our second night in Chateaulin we had a meal here, the Hotel looked closed but the restaurant was open, the steak must of been one of the best I have ever had in France, will use again when I’m back.
