Hotel de la Terrasse Restaurant

if we had taken any hints at some of the reviews about this restaurant, we would definitely have missed a wonderful Sunday dinner. fortunately we had booked because there was hardly one table. we have been shown on our table for 5th by the waitress victoria, which was friendly, attentive and extremely helpful, especially as my wife has just been diagnosed with zöliakie and must avoid gluten, so we know that the cook is prepared to accompany her lamb. the restaurant is located on the cliffs and offers a fantastic view of the sea. we all agreed that we had made the right choice to eat there and would come back in any case if the opportunity arises.

bad experience in my life! still angry, even it is after a month, never believe that this happens! long story short, we have the reservation about 2 times emails and the owner confirm that we have a terrace sitting places! if we...mainly, they can see 4 workers chat, but nobody talk or welcomes them! after 5 minutes standing there, finally a woman who I asked we wanted to ask them why they confirmed our reservation, then she said: good, good! go! very soon we started to say that we are going! unbelievable! trust me, don't come! horror!

We had lunch in this restaurant because the restaurants in the town were not very well noted and the comments were a little frightened...Very pretty seen on the sea between the slopes of the cliffs, and pleasant terrace with parasol. proposal of a big hat for me, which wasn't quite in the shadows. Very nice attention!The meal in itself was correct but not reversing. a little disappointed by my chocolate melt: the English cream was excessively liquid and had almost no flavor.

There were 6 of us and a young child. All the meals were great with the exception of the rabbit, which after 2 attempts they could not seem to get right and offered no explanation or recompense for the lost meal. The views are stunning....The service is fairly quick. However I cannot fault the extra effort that they went to, as they made a special berry charlotte dessert for my brothers 80th birthday. My brother had a very convivial, enjoyable birthday meal.

I frame is inevitably pleasant, but not enough to pass the note. Seafood and fish are highly unadvised because not or poorly prepared. It's quite scandalous for the price. meat, however, very good. Another B B recommendation. Superb setting high on the cliffs set back from the sea and a beautiful view. Certainly one of the best all-round meals in some time. Service, food quality, wine all well above average. A really great find (if you can find it!...set at the end of several cul-de-sac roads leading to the sea you need a keen eye to spot the sign on the road between Varangeville Ste Marguerite.

that was okay, but the service was inconsistent. we ate them at two nights and although eating was sufficient, we were never offered a pleasure de la bouche, although others were diners. in the first night our food came out almost immediately, while in the following night. it seemed to take forever!

We had a very good time here. The meal was delicious and the servers were nice. At the end, we have a delicious gourmet coffee on the terrace!
