This historic, locally-owned Swiss hotel is operated in the winter by a British management company Inghams. This means that you won't see Swiss staff as it's 100% British from housekeeping to cooking staff. The staff and management are super friendly and hospitable.Rooms are good-sized and comfortable, most with a nice view of the town. It appears that the rooms have been remodeled in the recent past as they all look fresh and the bathroom and fixtures are new. Utilities are all modern which means that the water and heat are perfect and easy to control.WiFi is marginal. We visited Hotel de Verbier while run by Inghams for the ski season. We chose it for its price, but it really delivered, far beyond a place to stay on a budget.In short:The rooms are comfortable, with drying space, a good shower, a balcony and plenty of storage. The food is good, especially dinner, and there is plenty of wine. (Breakfast is merely ok, the coffee and cold options could be better).The staff are unfailingly excellent. There are lots of them, and they work hard and enthusiastically in a way that isn't always found in young seasonnaires. Hotel is conveniently located close to ski bus and in the midst of restaurants/bars. Rooms reasonably sized, all the basics included, bit dated however currently refurbishing some rooms...The hotel team great, friendly and helpful, which just makes the holiday so much better. Would return, as skiing great and nice to be in the heart of things.

beautiful, cozy restaurant with very friendly staff. the food was delicious, we had the beef and beef pata, which was all cooked and perfectly presented. we had no place for dessert, but these looked delicious in the stand. it is expensive, but it is worth eating and service. they would recommend friends/family when they visit. The food was amazing. We both started with the poached eggs on mushrooms which was delicious. The bit of background music playing rocks as the best mezcal negroni in town ! Top restaurant and would dine there again out of the thousands of restaurants in...Verbier. Deep thanks to Dorian and all the crew for your grappa tasting !

Sorry to say, but the food definitely needs improvement.IF in a restaurant a main course starts at ca chf we expect HIGH LEVEL of taste and quality. We tried different main courses x in a row. Burning money without ROI. Even if you...tell the waiter that the food was not giod, they ignore it. #needsimprovement

great service and friendly staff. they have a new cook and its new menu celebrates simple delicious Italian cuisine. great cocktail choice even if they only look for a place to have drinks and an aperitif. I would definitely recommend a visit for lunch or dinner!

Very nice hotel. Very noisy are at night. Lots of partying and noise. Very hard to sleep. Small beds. Full size would be nice. Not fluffy enough pillows. Great food and service. British style. Clean Reserva una mesa ahora

quality of food. above. a real Italian experience in verge. baccalà alla ligure is a typical plate of ligurien and I was very happy to find it far from home. grazie la nonna!

I was alone and almost. it was bad quality eating .that was not good or prices...food...how can they not lose the bones....at least good service hahaha.
