This restaurant was recommended for its filets de perche by non other than the late Philippe Rochat , former Chef of Hotel de Ville in Crissier before the late Benoit Violier. As we love filets de perche , we decided to give it a try.... We were immediately won over, not only by the excellent food, but the warm and friendly atmosphere and welcome of a family run restaurant in the countryside. We have been back many times , and although I promised myself that I will try their meat which looks delicious, I am always tempted by the filets de perche! Gorgeous freshly made frites, and a lovely salad to start with. Their desserts are scrumptious too the cafe gourmand is super. Will definitely try...

Spontan angehalten und besucht, absolut tolle Küche mit traditionellem Landbeiz Charakter! Karottensuppe mit Sternanis, Schüssel grüner Salat, Rindsfilet auf dem heissen Stein mit Gemüse, Pommes allumettes und Sauce Bernaise gefolgt von im Holzofen gebackenen Meringues mit Greyerzerrahm...einfach herrlich! Der Service ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich! Kaffee und Dessert konnte ich auf der Terasse unter den Reben geniessen! Perfekter Tagesabschluss, i ll be back...

This small restaurant, nested in the center of the town of Vullierens is the place to go for the great atmosphere, the very friendly staff (it is family run) and the excellent food. The "Filets de Perche" are one of the best of canton Vaud...(if not the best), and the desserts are also worth it! I totally recommend this restaurant
