Hotel La Chaumiere

Our family of 10 ate here for dinner and this is what they got wrong: - One of us stated intolerance to soybean sprouts and requested if the wonton soup could come without it and was advised yes however the waitress or kitchen mixed up the order and the person with the intolerance was served wonton with soybean sprouts- Extremely slow service - we arrived at 1930 and the children still hadn't had their dessert by 2145- We ordered the wonton soup, the sautéed beef with onions, the seafood fried rice and the chicken curry and every single dish was sweet! - we also ended up waiting a good 20 minutes for the billThe children's mains were fine.Overall, I felt sorry for the harassed waitresses who were run off their feet and having to deal with 'reminders'

It serves me right I think. I have complained several times recently of portions that were too large. That was not a problem here. My prawns were almost non existant they were so slow. The food was underseasoned and the service far too slow.Not terrible but really quite ordinary. Overall we did not have a very good time at any of the restaurants in Quillan. With a couple of exceptions on this trip we have been completely undewhelmed with the food.

Popped in for an evening meal and were made to feel very welcome so much so that we found it hard to leave great food lovley staff and a good atmosphere all conspired to keep us here longer than intended

Slightly upmarket, a little pricey but good quality food and choice available.More for a special occasion.

Had dinner in the garden at La Marbrerie hotel in Caunes-Minervois last night.
