Paradise for those seeking relaxation A beautiful hotel in the middle of the tranquility of nature! As soon as you drive up, you'll find an extraordinarily pretty and traditional house that fits perfectly into the landscape. Nothing but nature all around! Nature that invites you to relax, linger, cycle or hike, and the large pool is also special. A tastefully furnished room with a small forecourt awaited us to enjoy the beautiful evening atmosphere. Friendly and helpful staff, from the young Sven to the boss Nicolas (who also helps if the guest has a mishap . Hotel La Metairie is truly a get away. Situated in the beautiful French countryside, it's a haven of rest and relaxation. The rooms are lovely, named after various flowers, the lawn and gardens are full of flowers and a number of seating areas. It also has a pool to cool off on a hot day. We had dinner and breakfast. The food was excellent for both meals. Dinner service was amazing. Our two servers were completely in tune with one another. Rooms: Comfortable, clean and lovingly decorated. Ours was all done in blue, including blue tile in the bathroom.
My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful stay here. Eva at Reception was most accommodating and helpful. Our room was charming. The grounds were incredibly peaceful and relaxing. The restaurant was excellent in every respect- from the beautiful ambience to the outstanding service to the marvelous food and wine, we couldn’t have asked or expected anything more.
