Hotel Park Villa

We spent one night at the Park Villa Hotel. What a treat it was to stay the night in this beautiful old villa. This hotel has a boutique feel to it. Breakfast was excellent and the staff are very attentive. Just a short walk down the street and across a pedestrian bridge and you are in the center of town. A nice feature was the washclothes provided in the bathroom, it is rare to find these in Europe. The service and friendliness of the staff was above and beyond what we usually encounter in Switzerland.

There is a wide choice of where you eat: various places outside surrounding the hotel or inside in the charming and character packed. The menu is comprehensive and varied and service is prompt and competent. Food tasted very good and all in all the best restaurant in schaffhausen at the moment

Being located at this hotel for two nights, we decided to dine the first evening in the nice patio under our room. Attentive and accurate Swiss service; good menu and excellent wine list (expensive, of course.) Great for a romantic rest.

We were welcomed friendly and proceeded to have a tasty dinner with a small group of people. Tables offer sufficient space in this old-style restaurant. The waiter did speak at least 3 languages which comes in handy for foreigners

A truly wonderful restaurant. We highly recommend the home-made noodles and the einerschnitzle. We had a table in the lovely garden with candlelight, great food and attentive service.
