Hotel Restaurant Bergsonne

after a cozy walk I wanted to go (24) with my friend at the hotel bergsonne. the restaurant was recommended to us. when entering the restaurant, the owner immediately caught us and asked if we want to drink or eat. he no longer let people drink on the terrace that only a glass of wine. when we told him that we would like to eat, he gave us the menu (which almost fell apart) with the request we should first take a look into the menu before we put ourselves on the table. I've never seen anything like that. not at all in a restaurant that was awarded by gault millau. so we have rejected thanks and kindly. then he has the joy of telling us that he has already thought this, because we cannot afford it anyway. an unharmed. if this is the way and wise how to treat guests in the mountain sun, then I can only advise anyone to go there. friendly greetings and still much success

My friend and I went to the top of Mt Rigi. On our hike down we decided to stop here for lunch. We initially thought it might be closed and almost passed by. I am so glad we did not. The food was amazing and the view was even better. We spent more than what we normally do for lunch, but it was well worth it. I would hike Mt Rigi any day as long as I could stop here. The staff was very friendly and helpful explaining the menu since the didn't have any menus in english.
