Hotel Restaurant Canal

This is a fairly old fashioned restaurant and sadly has no outside dining area but on a dull day we did not mind eating in. We both chose the famous cassoulet and I thought it was fab. My wife felt it was rather heavy but she is far more fussy than me! I particulatly liked the presentation of the wine list which made life very easy. Simple and old fashioned but rather pleasant.

we live 10 12 minutes from the restaurant (since 2013) and rely on delicious typical French cuisine. In the evening or midday breaks, everything is always on site and the prices are very reasonable. the hardworking owners always offer a warm welcome and they perform a great service.

Very difficult to find anywhere open in holiday season, so we were happy to go here. not a great choice of food, but excellent quality. Not recommended for strict vegetarians as it's fish or meat. Friendly, good service and very pleasant traditional decor
