"Don't know what the issues were in the past, but it doesn't matter. Stopped for lunch and this is a first class operation. Great oysters, fish and chips, and a superb seafood soup. Great friendly service, parking, reasonable prices, and a 180 view just above the sand. This could be a destination stop."

The hotel is deteriorated and for sale already 3 years. The restaurant has NEW owners, and there is also a small Tourist Office. Try to park your car a bit farther. The view from inside and certainly from outside terrace, where you can eat warm and cold meals, is surely a topic. The daily menu at 24 euros each was VERY good. We had a "potage de la mer", and a very nice steak with vegetables. As we avoid alcohol, we just took a Normandy Cider Kir. Owners cook and serve and are very friendly. We wish them lots of luck and travellers. Hope to see them again. Near the hotel is a very nice fisherschurch and cimetary. If I had to choose to lay down for ever, I surely should be in this cimetary in front of the superb bay.

Stopped here for lunch while driving past. It's a restaurant/hotel situated on a beautiful bay. We were seated on the terrace, with a a lovely view over the bay, and then the waiter proceeded to completely ignored every attempt to get his attention. After 30min we still hadn't had our order taken, despite many attempts, so we left. There were a few other people in the restaurant, but it was far from busy. The food here might be OK, but you may never get the chance to find out because the service is so bad. In short, it's probably best eating somewhere else.

this Hotel, Bar etc has gone through many changes and still is not performing. We visit the village every year and have seen all the changes and changes in management. The new Bistrot is not open every night and we have seen many people trying to gain access and get something to eat or drink on a Monday , to no avail. We have had drinks and snacks , very indifferent service but the main issue is that they just dont open when people expect them to.

I visited this restaurant this week with a group of friends. The food was excellent, from the mussels and chips to the desert and coffee. However I did feel abit sorry for the female staff working , it was extremelybusy and she was alone..She really earned her wages that day.Definitely worth a visit, but I would advise to book a table.
