Hotel & Restaurant Friedheim Gade

We have been visiting the restaurant regularly for years: so far great food, good service it was just right. Unfortunately, we went home today with a bad feeling there were several small things that just didn't fit anymore: the hostess only greeted a few tables personally, the service staff spoke very bad German, the food was OK but not OK for the price, on At the next table, the host made a couple leave after a complaint (no go no matter what happened) and on the dessert menu you can seriously buy a 20 minute conversation with the hostess for CHF 45, which got us a little wrong. Too bad it's not what it used to be...

On Monday we were allowed to celebrate my mum's birthday with a very fine lunch. You could feel the warmth of the staff (especially from Tanja) everywhere. The food was really great too. Very good hotel on the way to Italy . Good breakfast and near the lake and city centre. There are many restaurants to eat. The place is quiet. Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 5
