Hôtel Restaurant Le Grand Chalet

visit she was for august 2019 -pre covid but could not select it on the reviews options. we were in the hotel grand chalet and ate in the restaurant at the first night and what an amazing experience. we went with the raclette, meat...platter, salat, brot and kartoffeln for 4 which really amazing and a real table experience with the scenery of the beautiful mountain with the glowing fire behind us, all and more what I expected. a time our family will remember for years. I cannot recommend the hotel and restaurant enough. after dinner we venture to the balcony for some drinks wrapped in free blankets, the hot chocolate with brandy. I'll be fine later this year.

the place is majestic and apart from the intention of the surrounding mountains, eating and service surpassed our expectations. staying in the chalet was already a wonderful experience and we have no regrets, and so we had to eat. Fondue...was on the menu so we couldn't resist. service with a smile and contemporary. meat fondue was the choice of the day, and it was sublime. accompanied by good Swiss wine, made the evening an unforgettable one. one has to repeat, so we'll be back soon.

La vue est magnifique. Mais le service, quoique sympathique, est envoyé à la va vite. Quand on arrive, il faut presque aller en cuisine pour qu'on vous accueille. La qualité des mets est correcte sans plus. Et quelle idée que de servir des fromages (pour le dessert) avec de la salade dans la même assiette !

Nous sommes allés avec des amis un dimanche à midi. Le cadre est magnifique depuis la terrasse avec le beau temps c'est vraiment un super endroit.Le service effectué par un Personnel très agréable est parfait.Le repas était très bien et nous a fait passer un moment très sympa.Nous reviendrons. great eating, super friendly staff and stunning views! Don't miss it! we put them to lunch and we didn't expect the quality we have. the flesh was delicious, we have a burger with deceased and freshly fied who were ingenious. a must, if. visit her leysin!
