The hotel treated us well. The town is attractive. The food is good, but heavy on meats, fats, and creams (adds plaque to your coronary arteries). They did accomodate us well when we asked to increase the vegetables in our meals. Wine selection is fair....but reasonably priced Borderline Holidays, however, who arranged for our trip and booked us there is a total rip off. They charged a substantial booking fee, but did not delivery on services as promised once we arrived. They made us feel like an imposition on their personal lives. They did not offer to help us get to any of the nearby great sites of the pyrenees, Their advice on hikes was limited and poor at best. Their directions were hard...
Nous avons séjourné 3 jours avec notre fille handicapée en fauteuil, dans cet hôtel l'accueil est formidable, tout est accessible dans cet hôtel, des places de parking pour se garer juste à côté de l'entrée de l'hôtel et de l'ascenseur qui est grand et pratique. Le restaurant est excellent des plats bien équilibrés de l'entrée au dessert, nous nous sommes régalés même notre fille qui est pourtant assez difficile.La chambre PMR est bien proportionnée, l'accès à la salle de douche italienne est bien conçue. L'hotel proche du centre ville mais au calme avec une vue magnifique et une petite rivière qui coule c'est très reposant et très joli. Nous reviendrons c'est certain.
The classification in the Logis de France guide gives the wrong impression. It says that the establishment is of high quality with refined cooking. The soup was palatable but uninspiring. The tenderloin was good quality and well cooked. The crème brulée was alright but didn't...catch fire. The décor and the local radio station background music were amateurish. Overall it was a good place to go if you are hungry but not a place to celebrate an anniversary.
We were booked in by Borderline Holidays who as usual looked after us in exemplary fashion. This is our fifth holiday with them and we have booked for next year too. We were there at the same time as people who wrote an uncomplimentary review...of Borderline. I can't understand why they were so aggrieved. Humans can't yet control the weather in the mountains!

Thought the decor of the place was a bit drab and depressing and didn't bode well for the food. However, staff were extremely friendly and attentive, helping us out with our poor French by translating what they could into English, and the food was really...lovely, better than what I was expecting certainly!
Une bonne cuisine bourgeoise en quantité suffisante. A noter que le restaurant n'est pas accessible aux personnes en chaise roulante qui devront se contenter de quelques tables dans une pièce annexe. Service agréable.
because there was a festival in the city, we had difficulty finding somewhere open for a meal. this hotel was easy to find, very welcoming and eating was good. on the menu there was no choice, but what there was.
second visit for us in this very personal and very friendly hotel. good size room with a very good bed. good cleaning. friendly staff. the restaurant gives good value for money recommend it with pleasure.
