Hotel Steiger - Reservar una mesa

This hotel was recommended for the restaurant. Although the food and the atmosphere were quite good, we were most surprised that they did not take credit cards only German bank cards. Although they have 20 rooms, I was told that the guests didn't... German bank card has to pay cash. If you stay there for a few days, this could be easily over 1000 euros in cash, which is unacceptable. To pay money in a stand alone, the restaurant is fine, but not in a medium-sized hotel. This shock has spoiled our experience.

This hotel was nearby to where we were staying. It was recommended by our host and he kindly booked a table for us. It has a lovely outdoor terrace and a traditional Bavarian interior. We spent several evenings eating here and enjoyed its views of...the castles. The terrace overlooks a valley towards the ancient town of Fussen. Menus are in German with a set 3 course dinner costing about €19.50. They will provide an English menu if asked

The hotel staff of Seehotel Guglhupf recommended us to have dinner at this place. Eventhough it was a bit far from my hotel (850 meters) but it's worth to walk to have dinner there. The food and dessert were homemade with excellent taste. The glass...house decoration of the restaurant was perfect. Love this restaurant!!!

This restaurant was very highly recommended to us. It must have been an off night because unfortunately both the meal and the service were at best average, Most interesting feature was the view of the attractive flower garden outside the window with cows grazing quietly...only a few feet further away.

Ate there few weeks ago. It was great and not unreasonably priced. Great salad bar. We had the fish special and chicken of some sort in a cream (sorry don't read or speak German). Highly recommend service and quality. Check their web sites and other...reviews!
