this hotel restaurant is an assmannshausen, only 5 o'clock in the morning from rüdeshiem and situated on a river bend. it has a wonderful terrace on which people come to eat, chill, drink or chat, and it's almost all day off. we drank here and eat here and eat it is strikingly good. we ate to night, starting with mushroom cream soup (peppers had season) and tomato soup. both were very tasty, well presented and had really character. followed by the schweinshaxe - a German speciality. this cam in a brown beer sauce with bratkartoffels and really well cooked pork. it was hearty, tasty and excellent and the beer was a perfect companion. my friend had the quiche that was just as big. we had both...
location, location! directly on the Rhine, in the midst of beautiful plants and flowers. super good, our favorite dinner of our four-day break in assmannshausen. we had a few problems to order our selection from the menu, as the dishes apparently did not contain any sweet or salate at all, and when we asked the waitress they had some language problems, but, everything was sorted and we ordered many supplements that were not on the menu. my steak with brandy pepper sauce and potato noisettes was delicious and delicate and a quite large piece steak. my partner also had a steak, but chose supplements from sweet and roasted and crushed kartoffels. these were tasty and the sweet assortment very g...
we were so tired of waiting for our food for an hour that we decided to just pay our drinks and go. every time we asked the waiter how long it would take, he said it would only take a few minutes. the owner and the waiter then insisted that he had told us that it would take an hour what he had not done. no discount or a free drink was offered. we live in Germany and speak both fluently German, so it was not a language problem, but unfortunately only a terrible service.

the hotel looked so desirable and the hired were beautifully dressed. we ate at lunch and were not disappointed. after our excellent lunch we drank our drinks and watched the boats and last-creams of the Rhine up and down. the open area is under a soon-to-be-weep in, so that if necessary there is always shadow. they are surrounded by cultivated flowerbeds and flower ampoules. beautiful place.
this hotel is located in assmannshausen opposite the ferryman of the KD ship. we have enjoyed a really good dinner in the garden with wonderful views over the Rhine. the food was excellent, the selection good and the service top-class. the wine was worth a second glass. a good place.
a place where they let the view of the Rhine graze and when eating under a canopy of wine, sit in the shadow. we have not only eaten here at lunchtime, but also in the afternoon. the service was good.
