we have been visiting jailers for many years and this hotel was always on the move before it sold a few years back. this year we thought we would go back as we enjoy the wellness and bar area. to our disappointment is the bar. this year not opened. the personal was barely seen as there were so few of them. we came back to the hotel on an evening with no one at the reception, just a sign with a phone number. the wellness area had no personal and there were no treatments within the hotel. regularly, the on the other hand ran out of fresh towels. the rooms were clean, but there was no evening that was distracting. the breakfast was sufficient, again not enough staff. this hotel was formerly gre...
Wir wurden leider sehr enttäuscht von der Küche im Restaurant Vereina. Es begann mit der servierten gefrorenen Butter.Beim Hauptgang waren die Hausgemachten Pommes dunkelbraun.- wer meint sie waren dafür knackig muss ich leider enttäuschen, sie waren braun und pampig.Das Entrecote serviert in der Gusspfanne und auf dem Rechaud, wurde fälschlicher Weise mit einer Zwischenplatte serviert und so konnte das Fleisch nicht weiter gebraten werden, was Sinn der Sache war. In der Zwischenzeit waren auch die pampigen Pommes kaltBei der Reklamation ( direkt bei der Chefin)sah man den Fehler ein. Leider ohne Reaktion oder Gutmachung.Fehler können passieren, aber wenn man meint dieses voll zu verrechnen...
Mit Familie definitiv eine schlechte Wahl. Setting das einen höheren Anspruch vorspiegelt, den das Restaurant nicht gerecht wird. Lange Wartezeiten mit Kindern = eine Zumutung, essen eher fad, sogar die bündner Gerstensuppe ohne wirklichen Inhalt und Geschmack, Zürigeschnetzeltes das schlicht nach nix schmeckt. Weinselection medioker die Empfehlung des offenen Weins haute einem nicht um. Kurz: ein Restaurant, overpriced, das man nixht nocheinmal besuchen muss.
we had a delightful evening at the vereina restaurant. eating was very good, especially the game. we thought the menu was well planned with a good selection of interesting dresses. the service was not only efficient, but polite and charming, which unfortunately is not always given. there was a pianist who was really added to the atmosphere. for our money is the vereina to offer the best closters. we are very happy to see it again for his blossom.

Haben gestern am 13. Januar im Vereina abends gegessen. Relativ kleine Karte aber alles wird frisch zubereitet. Die Vorspeisen als auch der Hauptgang, (Ganze Seezunge) waren kulinarische Spitze. Die Weinauswahl ist gross, die Preise sind absolut ok.Die Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich.Werden sicher wieder hingehen.

Little restaurant within big hotel Vereina. It was proposed tonus by lovely people in Berghaus Alpenroesli, since they don't serve fondue. We ate very well, fondue was very good. Lovely service!!!
