I'm not used to leaving comments from restaurants, but my wife and I were really charmed by this one. Already the view of the terrace ( shaded, treed and very pleasant) is truly splendid with a beautiful view of the Puy de Dôme. So the dishes were all delicious. Simple but refined cuisine. Traditional but well cooked dishes. Special mentions for volnti, potatoes and chocolate marrow. Everything is done home and cooked with talent. And finally, the reception of the two owners of the place, Florence and Thierry, is charming. They're onions and very good. Anyway, a good time in this charming Royat restaurant. To be honestly recommended. We'll be back.
We found this restaurant a little by chance. The surprise was only nicer. The terrace is ideal: intimate and wooded. The dishes were excellent: back plate of the market, potato peat with homemade leafy paste, fancy and chocolate makee conquered us. The card is reduced because everything is done at home. The very neat reception of the owners is the cherry on the cake.
The dishes are excellent, we enjoyed ourselves, the prices are fair. We were able to eat on the terrace with a superb view and the pleasant sound of the river below. We were able to come with our dog, which is a much appreciated little extra when we are used to having our 4-legged companion follow us on our outings. The welcome and service were perfect!
On a visit to Royat, we came with my daughter by chance in this restaurant...a real discovery, a charming setting, a warm welcome with a lot of restraint at the same time. A card certainly reduced....MAIS, this makes it their success..that products houses, regional dishes..... With flavors and taste. A very good quality price. I recommend.
We discovered this restaurant by chance. We are delighted with the welcome, at the meal, at our departure everything was very well. A flat entry formula dessert 28 euros made home with a magnificent view of the puy. Intimate frame. A special mention for my request for hot chocolate with my dessert, thanks for the attention given.
Super reception of the owners who despite a big event at noon, we accepted without problem and with the smile. Installed on the terrace we were able to enjoy the sun and the view of the dome puy, after a day of stroll and the baths. Good value quality price for an evening meal. Only small flat the price of beers and apéros.
This restaurant is simply amazing, the view is exceptional, the delicious cuisine. Everything is home, has more than reasonable prices! Not to mention the reception of the owners, everything is gathered to spend a sumptuous moment! Thanks to them for allowing us to know the specialities of the region.
