Passing through area and checked Yelp reviews for a burger place. Based on the reviews we decided to try this spot. We arrived right at noon. We were a bit alarmed when there was only one table briefly occupied when we arrived. Once those customers left we we the only ones there for the entire noon hour. One of the first things I noticed on the menu which was reinforced again and again was No Substitutes. This message doesn 't make it seem as though they are very customer friendly. My wife had the cod and really enjoyed it. Unlike so many other restaurants the breading was light which allowed the fish flavors to come through. I had the Bacon-ater. Ate lunch here on a Sunday not crowded at all. And apparently they have figured out they are not busy so only had one cook owner) and a hostess /waitress on staff. Which means slow. I agree that it has an odd decor. Linen table cloths topped with white paper, tvs everywhere and food served on plastic platters topped with hot dog themed paper. It's odd but hey, I am not an interior designer so whatever. The hostess /waitress was really nice and the restaurant was pretty quiet none of the tvs really had the volume on. Shopping for a new home, ran into this place on a whim. It is unbelievably marvelous! The owners are wonderful. The food is over the top delicious and with great variety- not your typical pub food! Whatever you try is excellent and it tells you to come back and try the rest of the menu. Beer is cold, prices are reasonable, service is fantabulous, and the other patrons are quite friendly. I’d call it a modern “Cheers” in Aurora. If you miss this place- it’s your loss!

Delicious food, very friendly staff. My husband and I split the steak bites and the pork sandwich. The steak bites come with their homemade sauces, which were a little too spicy for me, but still delicious. The pork sandwich was also great. The place is a little bit of a hole in the wall, but from the food we had we'll for sure be back. We can't wait to try the rest of their menu. Reserva una mesa ahora

I was looking for a all-you-can-eat fish fry and found this gem!! They had 4 choices of fish, cod, perch, catfish and swai (Asian fish). The meal came with fries, 4 hush puppies, tartar sauce and coleslaw. Everything was amazing!! Going to make a trip back for their Tuesday special...stuffed burgers!!

Great selection of stuffed burgers on burger night. The nacho plate is about the best I've ever had as they layered chips and topping. Pricing is average and service is as well. With fresh made food it takes time don't expect fast food speed in a sit down family establishment.

I should have known not to stay when we walked in and it smelled like mildew and it's noon and we are the only people in there. No substitutions?? Is this the 1960's or what? The food was bland and tasteless. Will never come back here.

Quaint bar. Prompt service. Overcooked, dry and tasteless burgers that are light on the meat and heavy on the toppings. Horrible burgers. Do NOT believe the hype! Looks are deceiving. Will NOT be back, Reserva una mesa ahora

Only been here for lunch but the food is the best! Chicken po'boy, cheeseburgers, the reuben, everything I've gotten so far has been awesome. Huge servings! Props to the cook and waitress.

Love this place! The burgers are fantastic. me and my wife love coming here when we want a quality burger. Whenever we have out of town visitors we take them to Hounds. Would recommend.
