One of the worst places I have been to in years. The service was horrible. Waiter was down right miserable. Once he brought the appetizers...you didn't see him until he came with the entree...appetizers were not correct...General Tso chickenovercooked/dry. Chow mein was decent. Waiter then walks over to bag the food before we were done...looking to get us out Ithink. Then needed change back from bill that took about 15 mins...finally had ask manager for it..guess he thought he wasgetting a large tip for terrible service
The overall experience was disappointing. The Fried Pork Dumplings (#11) were too doughy, and the filling was bland. The Twice Cooked Pork (#96a) had very little pork in it. The Scallion Pancake (#24) was tolerable only when drenched in soy sauce, but the Chicken with Black Bean Sauce (#45) was the standout dish of the meal.
went there sunday with my wife 10/16/22 people at the bar were useing the f... word shouting watching football asked the waiter to get manager he wouldnt l told my wife we were leaving stop at the counter and told them they did nothing and they wereshouting the f... word i have been going there for years but knot anymore.
This is one of my favorite spots, but during my visit tonight, the wonton soup was too salty, the pork with vegetables in garlic sauce was lacking in flavor, and although the BBQ ribs were tender, they were also missing taste. I hope this was just a rare off night.

I live in Manhattan near Chinatown I am 64 years old. Is the House of Chung is better than any restaurant in Chinatown or in Manhattan. My wife and I drive out there as much as we can. The food is phenomenal Daniel the owner and the service absolutely phenomenal
Excellent food and service! This place serves American Chinese cuisine that is consistently fresh and tasty. The friendly and attentive staff create a comfortable, upscale dining atmosphere, and they also provide quick and efficient take-out options.
I absolutely adore this restaurant! The food is fantastic, the service is excellent, and the cocktails are wonderfully crafted. I highly recommend this spot. We always enjoy the inviting atmosphere here!
I got chicken and broccoli and they give 2 pieces of chicken and it taste like a wet rat, and it was super expensive. Would not order there again.

Been going for over 25 years and they never steer me wrong. Always good food and the staff and owners are the nicest ppl.
Very nice place. The food was all tasty and well prepared. The general tso sauce was unique and flavourful.
