We had a terrible experience in the jazz house. I had made a reservation for my friends birthday weeks before the time. I even wrote it for his birthday, but that was never commented and we sat in a cramped seat right in front. The drinks and the food were overrated. Our drinks were weak and it took forever until our waitress checked us. When they did, we asked for a cheese plate that was EIGHTEEN Dollar, so we expected it to contain a number of cheese, fruit and nuts. But what we were given was the opposite, there were five small pieces of cheese and three slices of apples. The plate looked like she was supposed to feed a mouse. The décor and music here is really nice. We came here on a Wednesday night with a Groupon for a four course meal which had excellent value. Overall the food is average, nothing extraordinary but it does taste good. The highlight of the meal was the crème brûlée dessert. I have had my fair share of crème brûlées, more bad than good. The dish here was good but unique because it came as three distinctly flavoured desserts (original, chocolate, and orange). The live band was very nice and the acoustics of the venue were nice and crisp. Don't come for the food, but come for the experience.

The menu is very small. The vegetarian lasagna is like soup. Terrible. The ribs lubricated as if they came out of a box. Terrible. French fried were dry. The service wasn't so great. They acted as if it was a rush, but it was not so busy and independent, it is called "customer service" for one reason. The water girl was on the spot. Music was wonderful. The subject is great. But I would not recommend this place if you want a meal. Drinking and music is perfect.

Great place with a great atmosphere and many pictures and chandlers. The pianist and singer on Tuesday night were great. The pianist was an extraordinary listening. The food was above what we expected for a club but reasonable prices with a set menu and good prices on cocktails. If you are in Montreal, you should visit.

drop by since it's close to my hotel. too bad missed the Jazz show time. but still catch the R&B show. drink is so so but the show is excellent. the band is great, the singer is amazing, she can create great atmosphere. she can make most of the audience to join into her music. Lovely! I definitely will go back

My family and I had a great time. Coco Thompson and an incredible trio performed Billy Holiday, Cesaría Evora, Etta James and many others. Loved the wine selection also.

since 1998,I spend an evening jazz-dinner in your restaurant.Arriving from France to visit family ,I cannot miss a soirée in house of jazz........ it's always great !

You need lots more air conditioning. A lack of proper a/c ruined the night for me. I couldn't enjoy my food or the entertainment.

We had an amazing evening and even got to have a drink with the band. Very nice people and good energy. Ambiance is incredible.

Super place for Jazz music. A bit loud to talk, but great ambiance.
