One of the only places that deliver near me. So sometimes it's a necessary evil. But trust me, this place is junk. Literally fed most of my food to my dog tonight. £8.50 for a tikka starter with only one piece of lamb, two pieces of chicken, one tiny onion bargee and half a shish kebab. The chicken tikka masala was good, the chicken madras was nasty..... Just a few pieces of chicken swimming in water which look like something my dog would produce after a bad stomach. Even the mint sauce. You couldn't even be bothered to fill the pot. Not that we should expect it, but no papadums however, I did spend £90 tonight. I felt cheated this evening. The food we had was okay, tasty, and the portion size was good. However, when it came to the bill, we all felt cheated. Firstly, a poppadom cost £1.20 each, which is absolutely extortionate, and also different to the price on the menu which was 95p. All 8 poppadoms cost more than my curry at £12.60. Secondly, we were charged more for a pint than it was on the menu. The waiter told us that they were old menus however they were on every table in the restaurant. Our experience was disappointing, I felt cheated by the price and the way it was dealt with. The waiters weren’t very interested in helping us either. Unfortunately this wasn’t a great experience as the food...
This feedback is based on just one two-course take-away but it is worth noting that the menu I picked up on the bar says under new management . Having lived in a northern town I am curry-critical and this establishment has never impressed. Usually asking for something hotter helps, so I ordered lamb biryani with a hotter madras style vegetable curry. The whole thing was bland. There were maybe five pieces of indifferent meat little more than bite sized. The curry was disgusting. A few pieces of boiled potato and a lot of thin, very oily brown liquid. I dare nor describe what it looked like. Oh. and the menu says discount on cash collection . I didn 't get.
The food was delicious, but I had to drain off excess fat from the lamb madras. I was overcharged by nearly £13 for a £34 takeout order. When I paid by card, they said they would deduct the overcharged amount from my next bill. I had to go back to the restaurant to receive the refund in cash. Make sure to check your receipt carefully.

Amazing food and incredible service even for my delivery order! Was super easy to order and even when I forgot part of my order they were very accommodating and went out of their way to assist me. Driver is a legend! Cannot fault the food. I got the makani and a few sides and it was unreal! 10/10 would recommend
Unfortunately, it wasn't the best dining experience. We have had better meals at this restaurant before. The food was bland, lacking spice in the madras curry. It felt like we were almost being rushed out, as the lights were turned off in other parts of the restaurant while we were still eating at 9:30 pm.
After a busy day, we placed an online order and walked over to pick it up 15 minutes later. Every dish we tried was delicious. The restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere and the staff were well-dressed. We plan on returning to dine in another time.
Ordered take away. Wasn’t impressed at all with anything that came. Overly runny sauces that just didn’t taste quiet right. Dry onion barges. A lot of money for a low standard of food

Eat here regularly, both take away and in. An absolutely excellent curry and the best in the area in my opinion. Lovely people with lovely food.
Food took over a 1hr 30mins to arrive. When it arrived it was cold. Called the restaurant and had a guy who was just rude!!!
