We always start with the curry puffs, which are our favorite appetizer to share. When we're especially hungry, we've ordered the chicken satay and squid rings, both of which were delicious. We've been working our way through their entrees, and so far, none have let us down! Tonight, we tried the shrimp pad thai and the salmon basil crunch, both of which were outstanding. I even considered asking for an extra serving of rice to soak up every bit of the salmon dish's sauce because it was so tasty—but I have to watch my carb intake! The restaurant has new owners as of May 2024, and they have done a great job updating the place. This has been our go-to spot for Thai food, and I consider this an authentic review since my wife is Thai. She ordered the Shrimp Pad Thai and found it to be excellent. Unlike most Pad Thai, which can be overly sticky, this one allowed for easy forkfuls of noodles without the need for cutting. I opted for a shrimp dish with vegetables, which was also enjoyable. For dessert, we had fried ice cream, which they flambéed at our table, and we also tried the sticky rice with mango—a delightful treat. I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant, where the service was both fast and friendly. The food not only looked beautiful but was also incredibly delicious. We celebrated my birthday with a group of six on a Sunday evening, and three of us opted for duck dishes, which were fantastic. Two others chose our beloved Pad Kee Mao, also known as Drunken Noodles. I sampled both dishes, and they were equally amazing. The noodles were wide and tender, the sauce was light yet packed with flavor, and you can adjust the spice level to your liking. We usually go for a 3-star spice level because we enjoy spicy food. This restaurant is just average. We ordered red curry, panang curry, pad khi mao, pad thai, and spring rolls. Both curries were flavorful, but they tasted so similar that we think they might have mistakenly served us two of the same dish. The two noodle dishes were quite good, and the spring rolls were nice as well, although the portion size is smaller compared to other places. I got my order to go, but they were really nice, and the restaurant was super cute. The food was really good. We got five entrees and two salads, and finished all but one entree. I was shocked by how much we ate. Everything tasted so good. The prices are reasonable too. You can get some vegetarian or chicken options for $12, which is a couple dollars cheaper than most places in NYC. Food: 5
