Beautiful restaurant, amazing staff, very attentive waitress, nice big booths, great location, stale/hard chips, rubbery chicken. I left with flushed, tingly cheeks and a very upset stomach. (I have no food allergies). Clearly, something I ate did not agree with me but I don't know if it's the chicken or the guacamole that tastes like it came out of a jar and has the same consistency as baby food. I ultimately came here hoping for a margarita with my food but they do not have a liquor license yet so even though there is alcohol listed on the menu, you can't have any. There aren't a lot of options for places to eat in Winfield, but if there were I'd still recommend Huatulco. Stopped here for dinner while our Wayfarer is being serviced. Staff was super nice and efficient. It's classic Tex Amex. Food was hot, plentiful and good. Two reasons for not going for 5 stars the place was very cold (tall ceilings, probably hard to heat) and would have liked an option for more spice. The meals were spiced mildly, probably to please locals. We didn't ask for spicier salsa, I assume they have it. Just a suggestion to the owner to maybe have the wait staff offer. Other than that, really good!
we came here on a field trip and we were informed that it would costs us all 8.89 because they did a buffet instead of normal but when it came for us to pay for are food they made us pay 11.37 witch is not bad but most of us only had 9.00 also when we order are drinks I did not receive mine for a very long time but my hole table got there's like 10:00 before . I had to ask for my drink a 2 time
Best Mexican restaurant I've been to anywhere in Alabama! I had Camarones Rancheros and it was amazingly fresh and tasty!! The owner came and checked on me twice and the waitress was attentive without hovering. The facilities were so clean and comfortable as well. Can't wait to get back to Winfield to eat there again. Wish I had made a pic to include of my plate.

Great service, quick to get your food unless you go on Sunday after church or a packed Friday or Saturday night. Endless choices on the menu and everything is cooked great every time. Friendly staff that always makes you feel welcome with a beautiful interior to the building!
We had the queso, enchiladas, flautas, quesadilla, nachos, sopapilla and the special plate. Incredible service! Great food, great presentation. Really clean bathrooms, big space, fun atmosphere! The most memorable thing was incredible service. Also, get the margarita
Came to have a quick lunch food was good. Service was AWFUL I had to go find the servers just to get my drink refilled they were all in the other dining area on their phones multiple tables drinks empty people getting their own carry out plates.
Excellent food and prices. Plenty of dining room in a beautiful and well cleaned restaurant. Prices were reasonable and cheaper than Haleyville Mexican Restaurants.

Over all it's pretty good food. Service is pretty good. The place is somewhat new. It's kept really clean. We will come back again and again.
That was a great lunch. More food than we could eat.
