Hudson Food Studio

Phenomenal service, our server was so knowledgeable and warm. The food was, sadly, disappointing. Salad was okay, good quality and decent flavor but my friend who was with me said it used to be better. The chef refused to do the ramen with rice noodles, which seemed really weird; I explained I can have a little gluten and be okay, but can't eat a whole bowl's worth of glutinous noodles, and the answer was a firm no without explanation. I understand if the dish can't be gluten free, but you HAVE the rice noodles. I've worked in restaurants many years, that's not a crazy ask. So weirdly hostile, and so sad because they're the only place doing ramen in Hudson from what I could tell. Instead, we...

I was visiting from out of town. I made a reservation at this restaurant early in the day well before restaurant opening. I was sat in the main dining room adjacent to the hostess stand despite the fact that the most desirable dining area was the patio. Everyone else who walked in, without a reservation, proceeded to a ‘backward room’, which we now know was the patio. I was never offered or told of the patio or any alternative seating. On top of that it took over 10 minutes for server to come over and the steak was Inuit and chewy. Finally, had to ask for water multiple times. This place needs to step up its game.

One kid member of party asked for a side of rice and it showed up as $5 on bill. I asked about how they could charge so much and not say anything up front and hostess said “Yup. That’s what we charge” and walked away. Dismissive or arrogant or defensive — I don’t know. But not good service. We had a party of six and they automatically charge gratuity so I imagine they didn’t think we could do anything.NYC high end prices in Hudson NY. Side of rice just one example of supercharging. Food was good but not special. Servers were very nice.

I've tried almost everything on this menu and each dish is nothing less than amazing!! The service is always on point, friendly and accommodating and the atmosphere is quite spectacular. If weather permits, try to make it to the courtyard for some outside dining, but inside is quite beautiful, as well! Sending love to my girl Christina at the bar! The drinks and food and vibe were truly amazing. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Hudson is adorable and very cozy and HFS fits that quite well. Definitely put this place on your dine list while in the area. Vegetarian options: They have vegan and gf options. The selection is not large but what they do have is delish. I would go back.

Out for a date night my wife and I truly loved this spot. The food was wonderful with interesting and varied options. The outdoor courtyard was stunning and magical highly recommend sitting outside on a nice day. Lastly the service was friendly, prompt and knowledgeable.

One of my favorite restaurants in Hudson! I dream of their Spicy Chicken Rice Noodles. They have great fun drinks as well, and a lovely backyard.

Delicious vietnamese inspired dishes. The highlight was the tamarind ribs. Atmosphere is great too!
