I was in the area with 2 friends and decided to have dinner at the Hudson House in Nyack. It turned out to be the best culinary decision!! The place is elegantly furnished without being stuffy, good volume level, the staff is very friendly and accommodating; as is the amazing food. The menu offers something for every taste. We had breast of duck and the Gnocchi. We were extremely delighted how exquisite and delicious the duck was; simply the best we’ve ever had and that’s no exaggeration. Also the ethereal Gnocchi!! My wife and I stopped at Hudson House on a day trip from nyc and we absolutely loved it! Matt (the owner was so warm and personable, and the food was phenomenal. The short ribs were delicious, as well as the ricotta gnudi and sticky toffee pudding cake. Can’t wait to come back and experience more of the menu :
I learned this restaurant will be in business 45 years this year! The owner and his daughter knew just about everyone that came in the door. We sat at the bar, we ate and drank there. The bartender was great. He was so busy but was very good at his job. We never felt neglected. The food was delicious!
DELICIOUS…. Simply put. Delicious. The apps we had were good, but the dessert?!?! Made me wanna slap my momma, they we’re spectacular!!! Chocolate Tres Leches and the toffee dessert were top tier!!! I WILL… be back

Food was amazing! Tried several appetizers and several desserts and each one was just better than the other..... I would highly recommend the octopus for an appetizer and the crunchy bottom for dessert
What an amazing experience. I cannot say I have ever enjoyed such hospitality and culinary expertise all in one place. I cannot recommend this place enough.
Our waitress Elinor was excellent! I had the Braised Ribs and Gnudi and they were super delicious !!! Highly recommend and I will be back!
