this place was formerly our standard for a celebration, but it really fell down in the last few years. the restaurant was mostly empty, but the service was terrible and slow. our server was incredibly unfriendly. our water wishes were ignored for over 35 minutes, I took it. the food - nothing was really spiced. my legal father served the sadst looking mushles, and the rest of us served fried calamari with raw teig. everyone felt like we had made a mistake; the filled salmon was as dry as sawdust, 'crab meat' filled garnels was filled with mushy unseasoned broth crumbs in a tasteless white sauce and my man's steak was not on his request, was served black and blue and was all the grumbs. we wo...

Always a fantastic meal and wonderful experience at Hudson's Ribs and Fish! They serve hot popovers with strawberry whipped butter with every meal - light, crispy, buttery, and delicious! The combination platter is a great value and a perfect way to try a variety of dishes. I always choose the NY Strip Steak and Baby Back Ribs with either cherry mustard or honey mustard sauce - the ribs are incredibly tender and flavorful. The shrimp scampi and stuffed shrimp are also cooked to perfection. Their mixed drinks are strong and tasty; if you're a fan of Martinis, don't miss the Hudsontini - my personal favorite. I was a little disappointed with the food. I really missed the big bowl of salad the tray of vegetables. The chicken francese was a bit tough. The sauce was very good. The popovers strawberry butter were delicious.
