Hugo’s Frog Bar is rightly named with delicious food! I’m going to tell you right now I only came here for the sole purpose of trying frog legs in which I have never done before and damn right I made the appropriate decision. This restaurant is in Rivers Casino Des Plaines and has a nice dark atmosphere for something almost romantic or secretive, lovely staff, and a great for one’s palette. The frog legs were almost wing-esque, and the seasoning was just right. The restaurant has complimentary bread, and I was given great instruction to use the seasonings that fell off the frog legs onto the plate as a dip and may I say two thumbs up for that idea. Service here is always spectacular. Noise level is at a minimum in the casino. Customer service is phenomenal, the waitstaff is very knowledgeable on the menu. Hugo’s Frog Bar Chop House is the best restaurant in Rivers Casino. You won’t be disappointed if you stop by. The food is always consistent and delicious. The menu is extensive, you have a little of everything for everybody. You could get a delicious burger, seafood, or steak. They have a variety of delicious strong cocktails. This restaurant is great for a birthday, anniversary, date night, or appetizers and drinks. You can you use your points from your rush reward rivers card.
*5 Star Dining AT The Casino* An excellent dining experience from Hugo's, per usual! Best Crab Cakes and Ribeye in town. *They Are A Part of Gibson's Steak Bar* This Staff pulls out ALL of The Stops to ensure you are comfortable, and catered to. They provide a table side education of the cuts of steak available, with freshly wrapped examples. Their steaks are Dry Aged for 2 Months. Our experience at the restaurant was fantastic from beginning to end. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were very generous. The cocktails were also quite good. We started with the pear martini and old fashioned, followed by calamari and then crab cakes and steak. The only regret we had was not having enough room to try a dessert!

I had high expectations. The frog legs seemed a tad underdone. The crabmeat salad seems overpriced. The charred broccolini would have been perfect except for the dry chili flakes sprinkled on top. Frankly, it would be perfect without it. Oysters were good. My friends ateak salad looked amazing. Crème brûlée was humongous and hit the mark.
My friend and I are here. The best restaurant! The food was excellent, the atmosphere was superb, both managers came to speak to us. But it was the waiter who gave us the best dining experience. Edward gave us a lot of attention. Very pleasurable experience! If I could have given this restaurant more than 5 stars, I surely would!!!
I had an amazing experience at this restaurant. The food choices were fantastic and the service was excellent. I tried the steak, delicious calamari, shrimp cocktail, burgers, hash browns, chopped salad, and carrot cake. I would definitely come back for all of these dishes.
Many have given Hugo's five stars, and I am right with them. Best filet mignon I've ever had... check. Great atmosphere... check. Excellent service... check. Highly recommended. And the carrot cake is crazy big. Enough to feed a family of five.

Read good things about this online. Didn't realize it was at a casino but it was a good place. The bartender was good and I enjoyed the food. Pork chop and side salad with bleu cheese.
