My wife and I have heard all the hype surrounding Hummingbird and can confirm that it lives up to the hype, Hummingbird is completely legit. The service was awesome and the food was stellar. I had the Monte Cristo with homefries and the remoulade. My wife decided on the Peacemaker Po’Boy with chips and devoured it. Everything rocks about Hummingbird; the food, the atmosphere and decor, and the service. Absolute homerun for a place to bring friends and family for a great meal.
We visited for brunch on Easter Sunday, and it was a delightful experience. The staff was welcoming, the drinks were refreshing and tasty, and the food was incredibly flavorful. Don't miss the Ricotta Fritters—they're a must-try! I also had the best chicken and waffles I've ever tasted. This is definitely one of the tastiest brunch spots in Raleigh! I recommend making reservations, as the restaurant is on the smaller side, ensuring you have a guaranteed seat.
excellent service and excellent eating. I ordered the hull and waffle, and my friend ordered the best steak and vulture. the waitress was attentive, but not excessive. the atmosphere was small, intimate, and once they turn the music well for the conversation. I recommend this scenic cool spot. look forward to sitting on the terrace again!
The menu is thoughtfully crafted, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is fantastic. It's a great spot regardless of the weather—or even during a pandemic. The food was amazing, we really loved the chicken liver pâté and pork baking, overall everything was well done, perfectly cooked. We ordered a bottle of wine, the chenin blanc, and it added all dishes. The service was also on the spot. Overall we look forward to a return trip.
This is a delightful little place for brunch! I enjoyed the chicken and waffles along with an iced latte. The food was excellent, and my server was wonderful! They accept reservations, and parking is a breeze. You can choose to sit inside or outside.
Excellent meal tonight with great service! The ossobucco was amazing...fall off the bone tender with a great reduction. The oysters were perfect. If you get the bread pudding, make sure to add bacon. Every dish was on point. Definitely a gem.
