And it's Hunan Taste for the win. Stopped in on a Saturday evening without a reservation and was fortunate enough to be able to get a table without waiting to long. The estimated wait time was 15 minutes and sure enough, 15 minutes later we were walking to our table. For those planning a future meal, it may be a good idea to plan ahead and reserve a table in advance. Service is always spectacular whenever we visit and no sooner did we sit down, we were offered drinks (full bar items available) and a bowl of fried noodles with duck sauce and mustard were ready for snacking. One of the better options for Chinese food in the area. Ample seating inside with good ambience but tends to get quite busy over the weekends, so make a reservation if you're coming in the evening. This is also one of the few asian restaurants in the area that serves alcohol and they have a wide variety of drinks. I haven't tried too many cocktails here but generally always had a good experience. Large selection of dishes. I've usually gone with the Hunan Style Tofu which comes with a decent serving of vegetables (especially Broccoli), and can be made spicy if you prefer. Large venue with grand elaborate traditional Chinese (themed) interior. It is truly a beautiful venue. Metered street parking in the front, a free small lot in the back, which leads to metered lot parking down below. Full bar up front, private seating areas. Friendly very professional greetings when you walk in, however the fast service is so fast that I can be considered rude at times. Like they're trying to predict what you'll say, or rush through it. If you are looking for authentic Hunan Chinese dishes, this may not be the place, as we stuck to basic menu items like Sweet and Sour Chicken, Sesame Chicken, and General Tso's Chicken, along with some steamed pork dumplings. Despite the simplicity of our choices, everything was delicious. The sweet and sour chicken was particularly good, with just the right amount of fried coating and a thick sauce. Went here recently while visiting in Denville . The restaurant is very cool certainly not your typical Chinese restaurant. It really feels like you could be in China! We were early for our reservation so we got a cocktail in the bar area . The whole place was very crowded especially the bar area . They like to keep things moving and we kind of wanted to take our time. The cocktails were delicious. They give every table fried noodles with dipping sauce- delicious- although hard to stop eating! Really solid Chinese food takeout. We got crab Rangoon, general tso's chicken, chicken in garlic sauce, shrimp, and curry noodles. They gave a whole container of duck sauce and a small container of wasabi mustard and plenty of rice and wontons. And they gave steamed broccoli with the meal without us requesting it. The food was delicious. We called several times for clarification and they were friendly and helpful. The restaurant looks beautiful so definitely need to try dine in next time.

Restaurant was recommended on Instagram reel by @locallivingnj The restaurant is stunning beautiful with Chinese decor! Felt like I was back in China! The service was exceptional! The cuisine was tasty! There was a huge aquarium by the bar. Smaller aquarium between two rooms by the table we were seated!! Quite a unique feature! Recommend reservations! The restaurant filled up really quickly! Parking available on site!

Here's the deal. This review is based off a lunch! Old school white tablecloth with a coy pond and replica decor are all classic traits is a great Chinese restaurant! Lunch menu has great options But the larger menu has amazing dishes and awesome for a group! Worth the visit Reserva una mesa ahora

Their Chinese food is hands down the best in the state. Not only that, but the staff are also honest and genuine people. I accidentally left my wallet behind and it was returned to me completely untouched, with all of my cash and cards still inside. Thank you so much.

Fantastic! The food was delicious and the staff was very attentive. We especially enjoyed the fish tanks next to our table. It was a wonderful evening out.
