WARNING If I can give this place 0 rating , on food I would. As a native New Yorker and foodie, I considered Hunan Wok, to be one of the best Chinese food in Essex County. Until recently, that they changed staff, and the food and preparation practices have gotten so bad, it can affect the health of its customers. My wife placed an order and her and two kids got sick, we thought it was a stomach virus that had been going around, but last weekend, I decided to order some food again. I ordered two separate orders that contained chicken. The one with chicken wings, looked and smelled good, but the order with half chicken, smelled like fried sauce. My sister recently ordered food from this restaurant, and within 45 minutes of eating, she experienced severe vomiting and explosive diarrhea. The only items she consumed were fried rice and a few pieces of chicken. After reading the reviews, I noticed numerous comments about the cleanliness and sanitary conditions of this place, which raises concern. I would take these warnings seriously if I were you. It's quite alarming.

I am almost tired of writing these reviews but I’d rather be tired than to be SICK tired.You will surely get sick eating from this dump site.I just wish I stuck around long enough to take pictures. Great food never have gotten my order wrong. I have dealt with them for 15 years.. Nice people, delivery is always fast, food is always hot and good ....I appreciate there service...

The service was quick, and there were plenty of options to choose from. The food was delicious! They catered our annual Lunar New Year party, and it was consistently excellent.
