We recently dined here with another couple who had previously visited. They ordered the Shrimp Lo Mein, which they enjoyed. My husband had the lunch special, the Shrimp Combo, while I chose the Triple Crown Combo, which included chicken, beef, and shrimp in a delicious brown gravy sauce with plenty of vegetables. I highly recommend the Triple Crown Combo! We also opted for an egg roll instead of the sweet soup that is typically served with the combo. The service was prompt, and our tea glasses were consistently refilled. If we find ourselves in the area again, we would love to stop by once more.
Don't Be Fooled. Don't let the strip mall Chinese Restaurant stereotype fool you! The food here is top notch. The whole dining area was covered by one waiter and one bus boy which can only be described as a model of efficiency. Not at any moment were we in want of service and the restaurant at least 75% full. If you are looking for delicious authentic Chinese cuisine and excellent service make Hunan 2 your destination.
Absolutely fantastic! We've been dining here for years, and the food is consistently excellent, especially for a Chinese restaurant located in a strip mall. Our go-to orders are the sweet and sour shrimp, regular shrimp, house fried rice, or Mongolian beef, along with egg rolls. The owner is wonderfully generous; sometimes he even adds in complimentary fried bananas with our delivery.
I never had a bad meal here. Not sure about all negative comments, but I was always here and as a fat type, that is the best Chinese food I had in the alabaster area. The order takes tonight and quite excited about it.

Good food for the money...especially at lunch. If you get the special it includes drink, 2 samples of entrees, rice, soup, and egg role. It's an older restaurant, but has been consistent in this area for years.
