I feel I have to write this review, for the people who maybe are visiting the HRM and have heard about it being a home of great donair, and don't want to be disappointed. Given that I'm on the perennial hunt for "best donair," I figured moving to Dartmouth was going to solve all my problems, especially considering I spent 3+ years in Newfoundland, where they're still trying to figure out how to make the sauce.I was wrong, for the most part.I tried 3 places recommended by locals, and in each case they failed to make the grade, although they did make a half-decent donner (compared to Newfoundland, but not PEI.) this place is a great place to eat and to have home delivery. The family who run this place are very friendly and the service and quality is top notch. We usually order the BBQ Chicken Pizzas and Greek Salad and always . Very satisfied with the food and service./ We never have had a bad experience and everyone we have referred to here have loved it as well; with the Hungry Hut and we have been going here and having delivery for almost 10 years. This place has been in business for 12 years now and we remember the day they first opened and were very happy with the service and quality of food then. Even after all this time the food and service are top notch the Donairs are great as well as everything else they serve. Fast delivery and they treat you like one of the family and know most of their customers by first name. The food is still one the best for take out in the city and do try it out.

I have been eating here since this restaurant first opened. The family that owns this restaurant are the secret recipe! They are seriously the most friendly and welcoming people. It always feels like going home when ever I stop in here. I am no relation to this family, I just met them at their restaurant. Very nice people, very clean place. There was an elderly man sitting behind the pizza oven hacking and couching up phlegm, and the dough was the WORST I've ever had in my life. Tasted like the flavourless, tough, pre-made pita dough you buy at a grocery store. Super disappointing after reading such great reviews.

This place has friendly staff that put their hearts into their business.A refreshing place where the owners are happy that your spending your money in their business and they want your return business.They have the best doniar in the city.Service is quick and with a smile. eat in, take out or delivery.

Family run business, very very generous portions & great prices! Not a fancy place but clean & so friendly! Got a large donair but coul'nt fnish it ! ( partner helped). U can tell they take great pride in what they give u. Donairs are popular in Halifax/Dartmouth & this is THE place 2 get one!

My son and I started going here for our pizza, poutine, which is is out of our way, we pass 9 pizza stores to get here The food and the owners are great He has since moved away, but he said that the first place he was going to take his girl friend when they returned in April, was here ! Hard to tell if the staff is better'n the pizza or the Pizza is better'n the staff....Hannah, Momma, Sam and the Fam will make you up the best eats you can get on this side of the Bridge

this is a delightful take-out spot with hands down the friendliest people I've ever met. so kind, so sweet. their pizza is a really great value for your dollar and is super tasty.
