Hungry Pumpkin - Reservar una mesa

After spending some weeks in nottingham on a placement, I decided to go out at one of my very rare days and came over this little camouflaged caffe. the famous St. mary church, so the hungry pumpkin is perfect for tired tourist or city hikers. the interieur itself is warm and welcoming, so I quickly sat down and was pleasantly surprised by the variety in the offer. I ordered a cappuccino and a salmon panny. the coffee itself was a beautiful Italian Arabic, coated with chocolate powder and served with a small Italian keks on the side. absolutely delicious. the panini was packed with smoked salmon and goat cheese and was very delicious. pricely, it was similar to most caffes. We had kid's all day breakfast, a bacon roll, two coffees, a strawberry milkshake and poached eggs with avocado and halloumi on sourdough. The food was absolutely fantastic, the service quick, and the coffee a proper continental one. The shop also sells a selection of authentic Italian biscuits and organic pasta/other produce. Ditch the hotel breakfasts buffet and visit the Hungry Pumpkin, you won't be disappointed! 10/10 from us, well done guys!

What a find... The perfect place to start the day. A few tables outside not many but we managed to grab one... Overlooking the most beautiful church on a cobbled road, perfect for watching the world go by Really nice menu, we both went for the traditional breakfast... Mine was the smaller version and more than enough... Doorstop toast complemented the full English. Not forgetting Italian what could be better

Decided to try this place after learning that it is no.1 for breakfast in Nottingham. It’s a little bit out of the way but well worth the effort. Very small, very busy but excellent service, friendly staff and great food. The cappuccino was the best I have had in a long time. Lovely.

Nice little neighbourhood cafe with delicious food. It's really small, but surprisingly holds a lot more seating than I expected. There are a few outside tables available too. Good selection of food to choose from, very friendly and fast service.
