Dined here as a group of 4 on a Wednesday evening. The staff and service were amazing. This was my partner’s parents’ last night on holiday in Sydney before heading home and it was such a good one. 3 of our party enjoyed the land...feast, describing it as beautifully cooked and outrageously flavourful. As a non meat eater myself, I thought I would struggle but there was a wide selection of things to chose from in the mains, a couple in the starters and lots in the sides. I opted for 4 sides creating a little tapas style dining for myself, but the portions were very substantial and two would have easily sufficed. I had the harissa cauliflower, roasted eggplant, fried Brussels and polenta chip...
We went to this restaurant after a day at the Maritime Museum. It is located across the Harbour from the museum. We have made reservations here on trip advisor and that gave us dinner at 50% off. Great view of the Harbour. There are outdoor...and indoor tables. We chose to sit inside because of the heat. We both had the ordered the fillet. Our starter was a melted cheese dip. Great. The fillets were cooked to order and were outstanding. I had chips with mine and my wife a salad. We shared an order of Brussels sprouts. Great meal. We finished with the brownie dessert with vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce, and caramel corn. Outstanding. Great service and with the savings, a great value.
the starters of oktopus and chicken wings were excellent as directly from the grill. I thought about ordering more. we saw our headquarter on the theke for good five minutes while our server others do not wait tasks that drove my impatience. as a result of the waiting, thick cut chips were cooler and soggier. also only one that is not received optimally. the burger itself was ok, the bungalow tasted rustic by being cold and leaning on the stealing side. the wagyu grill was perfectly cooked.
We ordered mussels and octopus for appetisers. Both are, hands down, winners. The mussels were plump and cooked just right as was the octopus. I’d have loved seconds of each but I didn’t want to be greedy! We shared an order of pork belly, as...main, which was okay but paled in comparison to our appetisers. We rate the service good because they accommodated our request to hold the coriander that was supposed to accompany the pork dish.

went to hunter and barrel for a work dinner recently. the waiter had good knowledge of gluten-free and was aware of the crucifix contamination. he brought me a big tabular calculation with all of them and utterly arranged in all, so I informed one. choice his wee recommendation was good; the grilled aubergine side was delicious; dazzling that my expensive steak was overcooked. but otherwise a delicious and gf-style.
we loved our first meal so much, we returned the next night. the smokey chicken wings and the nativity are the standouts. only delicious! we had croquettes and wings for escape and the common land plate as pornstar. his pretty much eat. but so delicious we went back in the next night for more wings and a whisky tasting.
with overseas friends, found this place and was not disappointed. wein Menu was good, the size and quality of the steak was excellent, everyone commented on how good it was steak. friendly, happy service and would include this for the next time
A bit overrated. Dry burger. Charred skewer. Well presented but didn't taste anywhere near as good. Then to top it off the staff dishonored a coupon which was the only reason we went there. They must not mind 1 star reviews.

Amazing atmosphere close to darling harbour. The wagyu steak was perfect grilled and also the baramundi fish was delicious. The whiskey flight as a end if the dinner was an interesting idea.
