Hupperts

This restaurant is a secret spot has not come yet into the spotlight. Go before then.Enter this small establishment and prepare to be amazed. From the greeting and seating by the proprietors, to the explanation of magically concocted edible artwork, Hupperts will leave you immediately yearning for more. Scallops, Trout, Duck, Venison and gorgeously paired wines are available on the recent menu. Each plate outdoes the next in a five course meal. I could not have been more satisfied, and look forward to my next return.This small modern setting is the perfect place to enjoy in the company of other cuisine fanatics. There are less than 15 tables. The staff are warm and helpful, but consist only of a husband/wife team with an assistant in the kitchen. The basement offers a cozy, fireside cigar lounge. A wonderful experience, four hours of dining and chat will go by in the blink of an eye. Eight course meal with wine-pairing and gratuity for two adults is roughly €250, a sound price given the quality. Make your reservations and prepare to have your highest expectations surpassed. Downside: Not in close proximity to late night transportation (U-bahn, S-bahn, Taxi Stand).

If you read the title and you read my December 2016 review, you will learn that Hupperts demonstrates one of the most important aspects of fine dining - consistency. Not just in food quality, but in their approach, service, presentation and friendly, hard-to-replicate atmosphere. Third time is a charm. This latest visit sealed the deal for me. We invited friends with high standards when it comes to dining out. This visit to Hupperts didn't disappoint. I finally got to partake in the sweet cigar/drinks lounge in the basement. We were asked if a fire would be a nice addition - it was a bit cooler - and it was awesome. I really didn't want to leave. The service continued even then...The attitude of the staff is incredibly humble given their background and experience. You will not find a friendlier dining experience in Stuttgart.

One of Stuttgart´s fine dining hidden champions. The restaurant just opened 2 years ago and is now managed by the super friendly couple Marianne Giertz and Michael Huppert. Marianne is the restaurant manager and Michael is the kitchen chef. Both are doing a real great job and they really take care for their guests. The service, the food, the wine and champaign is at highest quality and value. You should ask for Michael´s surprise menu, it is what we had and well it was just perfect, so we will come back in one week !!! Also you should ask Marianne if it is possible to enjoy the marvelous dessert inside their beautiful cigar lounge with an open fireplace. Well the HUPPERTS is really fine dining at its best in the middle of Stuttgart and at the moment (still) one of South Germany´s hidden champions in fine dining!

From start to finish a perfect experience. Not one of the ingredients was only average, all the recommended wines were a perfect pairing with the delicious menu. Combined with a joyful service and an excellent value for money Hupperts beats most restaurants with a star. Can't wait to go back.

we had 4 courses menu for the dinner. The food was very tasty and fresh made. The lady is very friendly. For starter and desert, we receive always extra. So unexpected.Price, quality,taste,Service, 5 stars!
