On multiple recommendations my girl friend and I visited this place after Manly. The place was really crowded and the waiting took a while but the ribs live up to its fame. What we were most impressed with were how the service 'recovery' was handled. The manager Dean personally came to us to attend to us after a seemingly mishap from a service staff, followed by an apologies from the staff herself (note that we did not even complain to anyone, they just picked it up and went out of their way). At the end of our dinner they even sent a cake complimentary on the house. A truly remarkable example of excellent service attentiveness. Went here on reading great reviews on Tripadvisor. But I wasn't as thrilled as other reviewers. There was no atmosphere, although staff were friendly and efficient. But my steak was a bit tough and sinewy, not expected when paying $35 for it! Husband was disappointed upon ordering a pretzel burger that they had no pretzel buns...We should have just all ordered ribs like almost everyone else did! It seemed like feeding time...people just chowing down on ribs. I think that anything other than ribs might be a bit disappointing. Sides were nice.
Steak was fantastic. Service was exceptional. Children's menu and food were very good not the usual nuggets and chips offering. Children were welcome although Hurricane's was rather upmarket with regard to food and prices. Our waiter Daniel was incredibly patient and liaised with the chef to guarantee us a wonderful meal and overall great dining experience. I recommend Hurricanes Circular Key!
This is one hell of a great rib-joint.I can tell in one mouthful whether a place knows how to cook ribs and these guys far surpassed my expectations. The beef ribs were especially awesome.Service was excellent, especially with my kids, food was super fast, super clean, non-loud environment. Only constructive criticism I would make is having a wider selection of craft beers.

Food is always good at Hurricane's, I've found the standard to be pretty consistent regardless of the location. What really stood out at Circular Quay was the service! Absolute 5 star service that you'd expect at a gourmet restaurant. Food came out promptly and in generous servings. Hurricane's still hasn't dissapointed so will be going back.
If you are visiting Darling Harbour, this is a must to visit. Staff were friendly, view fantastic ( we had a window seat)meal was amazing, we actually went back twice and ordered the Scotch Fillet. Please note, wise to go a little earlier for dinner if you can, as line was well out the door when we left just after 6.00pm
As we both love ribs thought we would check it out....staff were great....food was good. We shared the mixed meat platter $105 way too much for 1 person definitely a share dish.
When We walked in to this restaurant, the staffs are nice and friendly. Foods was awesome. Every dish is perfect. Need to sit and sip but we had to go to see Vivid.
