My first and only ever review! Upon being seated we waited 15 minutes. After no waiter arrived, I had to get up to find a waiter to take our order. I booked a table for 13 people on a Saturday night. Phone booking was pleasant and straight forward. I had arranged dinner for a hens night weekend and was disappointed by the service and wait time for food. Our table finished the water provided before we even ordered food and was never topped up despite our requests. 20 minutes in we were served in regards to ordering and waited almost an hour for food to arrive even though half of the table ordered starters only. Upstairs, with a view across to the surf, this is a pretty good place for a feed. My wife ordered the Veggie Platter which, when I saw the price, made me a little perplexed... It's hard to believe you can charge that over $31.00 for a plate of veggies. There's no doubt it was served and presented well and the amount of each vegetable on the plate was quite generous, however (without a protein) it was still A LOT of moneyAnyway, the burger was fantastic (and quite a bit cheaper than my wife's veggie platter). I am an avid bbq meat eater and I must say the bbq sauce on the ribs and chicken wings was some of the best I have ever had. I got the steak and ribs combo for my main with wings and garlic bread as a starter and had no complains. Steak cooked perfectly. Ribs were tender and fell off the bone. Expensive place to eat but very well worth it if you want to treat yourself.
We dined with some friends and our young children. Staff were friendly and approachable, kept the kids entertained they loved their food which does not happen often. Husband said the steak was one of the best tasted. Friends enjoyed theirs, overall dinner was lovely with beautiful view of the beach.

So delicious. The Cavil site was lovely, friendly staff and quieter than the other site which was perfect for us. Definitely recommend!
