The passion for good food from the owners Jason and Stephanie is obvious. They have a desire to stay true to Jason's Singaporean roots and recreate food that you would find not just in good Singaporean restaurants but local hawker stalls. Chicken rice, laksa and nasi lemak are stand-out dishes that regulars crave and go back to Hutong for. But do ask for their specials as they are always coming up with new dishes such as Durian Ice Cream that will be sure to delight.

Great meal, excellent flavors in small dish tapas format. Eggplant and shrimp dumplings were standouts as well as the Singapore style dessert. Staff was kind and helpful to this non French speaker. Make a reservation.
