Hy-vee Market Grille Express

We were a bit confused when asked to walk out of the restaurant to order (we entered through the restaurant doors, not Hy-Vee). We both ordered a burger and onion rings, sweet potato tots and fried pickles as an appetizer.Positives: Food tasted good and the fried pickles and tots were hot.Negatives: We both ordered our burger well done, and both got pink cool burgers. The onion rings were ice cold. All the food came out at the same time, including the appetizer. We were intrigued that one tv screen showed the kitchen staff making your food... The kitchen worker (who had told us he was the manager when he brought out our food) wasn't wearing gloves and picked up something from the floor and tossed it in the trash, then returned to making food without washing their hands.Doubtful that we'll go back. 2 burgers, 2 sides, 2 sodas and one appetizer with tip cost $60.

Savage, Minnesota location. Inside Hyvee. 1058am September 23. Waited 10 minutes and then employee said I'll get to you in a while, I'm busy right now and disappeared into the back. I didn't see her again for at least 20 minutes. My lunch break from work was completely eaten up. Another patron was here and he was more upset than I was. She said we only have Coke products and so I tried to order a Mello Yello (a coke product) and she said I TOLD YOU WE ONLY HAVE COKE"I have had great luck at other locations, but I will NOT be back to this one.

Expensive prices for frozen chicken sandwiches. The mcchicken is better than there 13$ “crispy” chicken sandwich. Was not crispy in the slightest and was the size of an appetizer. Literally tasted like a chicken patty you can get from an elementary school lunch. Do not recommend eating here!

This place is always empty. It seems there's more staff than customers. Good luck having a relaxing meal. Food and service are both blah, unless you like listening to the bartenders drama.

we waited 30 minutes when they were coffee. the food was cold and only 2 more tables with parasols. and no one took care.
