Hy-vee Market Grille Express

I could not have been more disappointed with the food or service we received the morning of 10/8/22.Everything ordered was cold—Nutella Banana Waffle, biscuits and gravy, over medium eggs, pancakes, and bacon all cold.We also found multiple hairs in our meals.The waitress was missing for most of the dining experience. After placing our order, we had to fill our coffee cups twice. I had to ask two other servers for the bill and send the assigned server to the table. In doing so it took 10 minutes for our server to come out with the check and another 5 minutes to return with our bill. I visited Walburgers at the Urbandale Hy-Vee and had a disappointing experience. There was no service, so I had to go to the host station to place my order. I ordered two burgers, onion rings, and drinks. They handed me cups for the drinks, but I had to get the drinks myself. The onion rings were undercooked and overly greasy, and the hamburgers were just average—not worth the price at all. Overall, I was very disappointed and wouldn't recommend this place.

Was there on a Thursday night with a decent size group and even though they were short staffed, everything moved smoothly.Parking: Since it shares a lot with Hy-Vee, there is plenty of parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Has a ramp close to the entrance and has handicapped parking right up front.

I don't understand why one of the best-run grocery stores in the world, Hy-Vee, is partnering with such a poorly rated burger joint like Wahlburgers. 10/22 10:20am. while being seated was told food would take 45 minutes get to table. Told the hostess fine. Played on my phone for 15 -20 minutes. Asked for someone to take my order. After waiting another 5 minutes walked out. ?

The experience would greatly improve if you could sit down and order like at a typical restaurant. It feels a bit disappointing and somewhat unappealing. However, the food is quite tasty, and the service is really excellent.

Always a good time! They have Trivia on Thursday nights which always has me coming back. Cooper the bartender is always very kind and greet us every time he sees us! Best Wahlburgers in the area!

HyVee offers the highest quality food in the country. The place is extremely clean as well.
