We went to this place on a Saturday early afternoon. They only had one type of pierogi available, when they offer six normally. They didn't have any regular gyro, they only offered the chicken Gyro. I ordered a potato pancake, and it was terrible. It was so hot from the grease that it burned through the Styrofoam container and just tasted like the grease. The only reason it's getting two stars is because my husband and stepson said the food was OK. The fries were also tasteless. My husband ordered the Polish sausage and said the bread was hard. Nonetheless, we will not be returning.
I heard a lot of opinions about this place, and yesterday I finally got to try the famous XXL casserole at KD Market's birthday party. The casserole is indeed large, but I have to say, it's one of the worst I have ever tasted. The ingredients were of the lowest quality (canned mushrooms), and the price for this casserole is not exactly cheap. Even KD Market has better casseroles. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend it, and I genuinely hope the owners take my feedback seriously because it's a shame for such a nice business to serve such tasteless food.
