We had a wonderful experience at this cozy and intimate tapas bar. The ambiance was perfect for a romantic evening for two. The music played throughout the night was great. The tapas were all well portioned. We particularly enjoyed the fish fingers, grilled cos, charred corn and manchego, and the ricotta dumpling that was given to us as a sample. The entrana was decent, but not something we would order again. The basque cheesecake was a delightful way to end our meal. We appreciated the waitstaff's wine recommendations and the fact that they also had good non-alcoholic options. As a special touch for our honeymoon, we were given a glass of yuzushu which was incredibly kind and delicious.
The staff at this restaurant are truly exceptional. They are extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and the tapas dishes are authentic. The wine list is extensive and impressive - I ended up purchasing a bottle of Riesling, which I didn't think I would enjoy, but I was pleasantly surprised. The staff are happy to let customers sample a glass of any wine before committing to a bottle, and they even leave the bottle open to offer it to other diners. This is a great way for people to share and experience different wines while they are still fresh. I wish I lived closer to this place so I could visit more often. Truly amazing staff.
a word: atrocious advice: do not drive here disrupt average food. missing ingredients. half menu not available. new experiences at a completely new level of incompetence... between the waitress and the cook they couldn't open a bottle of wine. I had to do it myself. to finish the experience, they did not even take cards as payment and did not want to tell us before the meal. on my way home I pray that I have not received food poisoning.
This restaurant in Sydney is one of my favorites, and not as well known, making it a hidden gem for wine enthusiasts. The food is delicious and I appreciate the opportunity to sample different wines before making a selection. It's great for those who enjoy trying new things and is perfect for a light meal paired with wine. The bar seating arrangement is best suited for groups of two as it can be difficult to converse in larger groups.

Outrageously good food! Lovely welcoming ambience during dinner time on a weekday. Staff were very sweet and attentive. Im still dreaming about the food and will definitely go back. Our overall experience was positive with attentive service from the waiting staff. The food was generally tasty and came in good portions. My favourite dish was the chicken mole that was cooked perfectly. The desserts (banana split and chocolate brownie) however were not to our taste.
Such a lovely place to dine in! Excellent staff, excellent service, menu is pretty simple, most of them are seafood. ordered four dishes for two people. One of the best beef tongue that I’ve ever had. Btw, their loo has a little table in it which is very thoughtful. Will go again.
fantastic vibes, great eating and very loyal staff! tapas not too small and paella very tasty. Girls are friendly and the atmosphere on Saturday was great.
