Been many many times in the past …. Back in the day the menu was much bigger with a good variety of seafood, veggie and meat dishes. Now only 13 main dishes to choose from with a lot of old time favourites gone like the squid, peppers with honey and hazelnuts. In the past it didn’t matter what you ordered off the menu, every dish was utterly amazing in its own right and I could totally understand how it had achieved it’s Michelin Bib. tried to ring the restaurant 47 times prior my booking, aware of the late/cancellation policy. Upon arriving at the restaurant 20 mins late (with reasoning and evidence of trying to get in contact with the restaurant) we was ‘greeted’ by the manager who rudely exclaimed how we have 10 mins to order from the kitchen. He continued to look at his watch, rushing us to our table, not allowing us to apologise or explain our situation of being sent to iberico tapas bar instead of iberico world tapas on our maps. This was the first time out with my brother/ sister in law for my wife’s 50th. Food was amazing but after one hour we were being chased as a 2 hour a lot on the table. This wasn’t a cheap night out and given we haven’t eaten outside the home in 14 years together without children I am a little frustrated.

The food was excellent, having just returned from Burgos I was keen to try out my new tapas knowledge.
It's now my favourite restaurant in Derby, if not the country I consider myself a foodie.
