Drinks were fairly cheap. One of the women was really lovely and friendly. However I personally got dragged in by my partner who’s a rangers fan, for one simple drink. Everything was fine I then went on to attend the bathroom and a comment was made about my outfit by a man behind the bar. I was wearing a white and green two piece being totally unaware (because I am not a football fan myself) he said “oi don’t ever wear green in here again.” So me being totally unaware of what he was going on about I laughed and he went “no I mean it do not wear any green in here” so I obviously was puzzled then went to ask my boyfriend what he meant by this. after explaining the situation I then felt very un...
I’m Absolutely gutted to leave this review. The bar opened at 11am and we waited outside from 10:15am to secure a decent seat. the atmosphere was amazing, me and my partner visited this bar on the 26th of February 2023 (it was also her 30th Birthday to watch Rangers vs Celtic (Old Firm. We had 10 drinks between us at well over €40 and also purchased 3 T-Shirts as souvenirs at €45. We were asked to leave at 60 minutes into the game as we: “didnt want to purchase anymore drinks…” I was really disappointed in this place as a loyal bluenose… and to add insult to injury we losing the game 2-1 when the barmaid asked us to leave. Came all the way from Golf del sur to take my 13 year old son to the ibrox bar . There was as sign that said no under 18s on match day . We asked if I could bring him in as it was 12.30 just opened and the game was 4.30pm just for 30 mins so he could say he was in it and get a new T-shirt . We were told no . Disappointed they wouldn’t even let him in for a quick Diet Coke and a few pics . One disappointment teenager I have .
Pretty disgusting place, even as a Rangers fan. Before, during and after the recent match there were sectarian and racist songs bellowing out this bar an absolutely embarrassment made a thousand times worse doing it in a predominantly Catholic country.
