I had a wonderful experience at Ichiban Restaurant. The atmosphere was very pleasant, making it enjoyable to dine there. The service was excellent—I'm not sure if the woman who served me was the owner, but she was absolutely lovely. She made both me and my nieces feel right at home. Her attentiveness and warm demeanor truly stood out, and I want to thank her for the exceptional service. She even went the extra mile by surprising my niece with a delicious mango fried ice cream! Thank you again for that special treat! Additionally, the food was fantastic. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for delicious Korean and Japanese cuisine. I can't wait to dine here again!

Ichiban offers classic Korean cuisine, with the owner having traveled to South Korea to study the food and cooking styles before bringing them back to the US. This restaurant has truly become a staple in the neighborhood. The staff, owners, and everyone who works there are incredibly personable. When it comes to the food, I highly recommend the hot stone bibimbap or the pork bulgogi; the pork is perfectly tender and the spiciness is just right. For appetizers, it's a tough choice for me between the kimchi pancake, which is best enjoyed fresh and crispy at the restaurant, and the sticky wings with their delicious sweet and spicy sauce. The tempura vegetables are also fantastic!

I found this gem from a quick google search. However from the first moment I entered the doors I was treated like a long time customer. I was treated so wonderfully by the staff each and every visit that it kept me coming back. The food is also amazing.Every dish I tried on the menu over the course of a year was delicious and fulfilling. As well every person I introduced to thisestablishment was fond of the staff and food as well. This eatablishment is by far one the best dining experiences you can findin Providence!

Food was fantastic but what really made the place was how friendly the staff was. The man who was our waiter talked to us about where I?m from and what I did for work. I absolutely love this place! I used to visit frequently during my college years. The food is fantastic, and the service is quick and friendly. The atmosphere is calm and inviting, with booths perfect for you, your friends, or family. They offer authentic Korean and Japanese cuisine with amazing flavors.

Possibly the best sushi I've had in RI. Service was awesome. Server knew what the rolls were by looking at pics on my friends phone or the last time he was there. Raw scallops were fresh and perfect.

My friends really enjoy this place for sushi, while I join them for the scorpion bowls and soup. They offer several types of soup, mostly Korean options.

The dumpling soup was fantastic and so hearty that I hardly made a dent in my teriyaki beef, which was also superb. Plus, the service was excellent.
