Ichiban Japanese Seafood Steakhouse

A really good habatchi grill can be hard to find in Charlotte and the surrounding areas. This place is probably top of the list located in Salisbury just north of Charollte it is worth the drive. The food is exceptionally tasty with your standard offering of steak, shrimp, scallops, chicken and salmon. Generous portions of rice vegetables and proteins. Great tasting shrimp amd ginger sauces including a spicy mustard if you ask for it. The staff is attentive and the chefs are entertaining. A great place to go for a celebration or just some good Japanese habatchi. If it is a birthday be sure to let them know for some cake, a picture song and drum celebration.

The waiting period was about 40 minutes to take place and another 20 for orders. Otherwise, the food was great and cooked to order. Was the first time my daughter and she enjoyed the experience. The toilets were clean and the staff very friendly and accommodating.

Highly recommend a trip to Ichiban. The staff was very nice and the food was fresh. While they don't take reservations. You can call 20 minutes prior to arrival to go on their wait list.

This is an awesome place to go for freshly served vegetables and rice the food is prepared before you and to your likening, all staff here have a good sense of humor I highly recommend.
